These new In Home Lifestyle Sessions have completely stole my heart! I created a video slideshow of my first born, Dallas, when he was just over 1 years old and I watch it quite often. He is now 3 and 1/2. I just created a new one with the addition of our daughter who is currently 11 months.

When I was creating this, it was challenging, since it was of my own family. At times, it was really easy, and others not so much. To shoot this, it took about an hour and 1/2 – 2 hours tops. Creating the slideshow and video clip edits were afterwards.

So as I am shooting this, i’m totally fine, enjoying most of it. As I was creating the slideshow, I was also totally fine and so excited to see the end result. In all honestly, I was not quite sure how it was going to turn out.

I HIT PLAY: Within 10 seconds, I WAS BALLING. I was balling with pure, love, emotion. As I am watching this, I am seeing how fast TIME really DOES fly by. I am seeing that in this tough time of life with two littles, it really is a truly amazing time. I am a mom. I am a wife. I am a daughter. I am an entrepreneur pursing my dreams. I am tired, I am needed, I give, I reach.

You know that saying: “YOUR GOING TO MISS THESE DAYS”

It seems that I hear that saying most often when the times are tough. When my toddler is screaming on the floor in public or not public. When my daughter just won’t fall asleep and then wakes up 3 more times in the middle of the night. When my son has a tantrum because he didn’t want to drink out of that cup or he didn’t want his food cut. When my daughter consistently throws food on the floor because she thinks it is funny. When they both are playing so well together, but then every 3 minutes, you have to stop a fight because they are getting mad at each other.

I speak of those moments above and I think how the heck can I miss those days. I am stressed to the max, my anxiety is high, my patience is low.

I look at these moments in the video I created and all these things said completely disappear. This video shows me how I get through the days. It makes me realize that yes, life is hard right now, but PURE, LOVE, EMOTION, completely over powers ALL OF IT. The laughter, the hugs, the sibling bond, my oh so good husband who supports and loves me and cares for these children like no other. The innocence in my kids at this age. The times, the days, that I will never ever get back.

The days are sometimes long, but the years are so short.
